Message From the CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver

Blusky Foundation

“We Realize How Fortunate Our Company Is,
And For Me, We Have A Responsibility To Give Back.”

~Kent Stemper, BluSky CEO

The BluSky Foundation builds upon BluSky’s vision to not only Fix Broken Buildings but to restore and rebuild the vital elements of our communities. By intentionally living and working our core values, BluSky strives to fulfill our responsibility to give back to our communities and assist in the development of nonprofit organizations nationwide.

We’re committed to making our communities better. We believe that to be a truly great company, we must share time and resources with the communities where we live and work. That belief led us to create the BluSky Foundation.

Through BluSky Foundation we support The Boys & Girls Clubs of America and many of their local chapters in the markets that we share. Our focus is to support nonprofit organizations focused on children in need of love and support, as well as community disaster relief efforts. We do this through a combination of large organized events, donations, client support, and more importantly - volunteering our time and advocating the needs for these organizations.

Day of Giving 2023

Recap of Our National Day of Giving Across All Offices in 2023

Annual BluSky Day Of Giving

It’s important to us to invest not only financial resources but also our time in charitable endeavors. Each year on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, BluSky employees across the company participate in acts of community service as a team.

Every BluSky office is encouraged to identify a local nonprofit organization and spend the day volunteering as a group with them. Each employee who participates is given paid time off that day for the purpose of volunteering.

Our people have loved doing this. We are grateful to be able to do so, and we believe it’s a reflection of our great group of employees and our organization.

Sustainability

We Are Proud That We Can Reduce Our Carbon Footprint While Simultaneously Reducing Costs.

Every load of debris that we can keep out of the landfill saves our company and our customers' money. For several years, we have worked with Ecoprojex, the largest appliance recycler in Colorado, to help us with our recycling efforts. This has paid off by keeping several thousand tons of debris out of landfills.

On one multi-million dollar project, we were able to recycle or donate 36 refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, and stoves. In addition, we were able to recycle much of the damaged copper, HVAC, and plumbing components as well.
