Immediate Response,
Expert Clean Up

Water, where it isn’t supposed to be, is always an emergency. Whether it’s groundwater or flooding, burst pipes, bathtub overflows, toilet failures, roof damage, basement flooding, or water from firefighting efforts, we have seen it all and know how to help. We will handle everything from the drying process to the complete reconstruction and repairs. Rapid response and expert water damage cleanup is what we do. At BluSky, we have one mission in mind—you.

Our team has a two-phase water restoration process set up to ensure damage is mitigated and resolved promptly. First, we respond with an emergency clean-up that starts with us contacting you and wraps up with our technicians removing equipment and cleaning up the job site.

Our residential services project director will then inspect the aftermath and write a proposal for any repairs. Step two incorporates the repair and reconstruction phase. We’ll collaborate with your insurance to determine coverage, work to approve the process, arrange the work repairs, and walk you through the project completion steps and final invoicing.

Phase 1

Emergency Clean Up

1

Call BluSky

A Project Director will contact you immediately after receiving the loss notification of your emergency.

2

Emergency Response

Environmental testing is ordered and a technician is dispatched as soon as possible.

3

Initial Inspection

We conduct a detailed inspection of the property, evaluate restorability, and develop an appropriate plan of action.

4

Work Begins

The water extraction process begins almost immediately. Your contents and furniture are put on blocks or moved out of the water damaged area.

5

Equipment Set Up

We use the square footage, temperature, and relative humidity to determine the number of air movers and dehumidifiers needed.

6

Demo

Wet, unsalvageable building materials such as flooring, drywall or baseboards are evaluated and removed if necessary.

7

Constant Monitoring

Moisture levels are consistently monitored during the drying process until the materials reach our drying goals.

8

Wrap Up

Equipment is removed and the job site is cleaned up. A Project Director then comes to inspect the aftermath and write a proposal for repairs.

Phase 2

Repairs and Reconstruction

9

Scope of Work

We collaborate directly with your insurance to determine coverage and develop a detailed scope and estimate for repairs.

10

Approval

Depending on the size of the project, the insurance approval process can take days or even weeks.

11

Sign and Down Payment

Once the down payment is received, you are assigned an on-site supervisor who becomes your main point of contact.

12

Understanding the Project

Your BluSky team will hold a pre-construction meeting with you to discuss details and expectations.

13

Work Begins

A timeline and material orders are provided, and repair work begins. We utilize Trade Partners as needed as we work through your project.

14

Final Walk through

We ensure the project is completed to your complete satisfaction.

15

Final Invoicing

Your warranty is started, and final payment is invoiced to you and your insurance company.

16

Project Survey

You will receive a call or email from Guild Quality asking you to complete a short survey about your experience with us. Our future success depends on your complete honesty.
