With October wrapping up, we wanted to reflect on Careers in Construction Month here at BluSky.

Careers in Construction Month is a month-long celebration of the various career paths in building trades industry. This national campaign aims to increase public awareness of construction careers and inspire the next generation of craft professionals and make an impact on the perceptions of a career in construction.

BluSky is happy to celebrate our valued construction and restoration professionals each and every day – not just in October. Many members of our BluSky family have had exciting, interesting, and at times, unpredictable career paths that brought them here and have had tremendous career growth in this industry.

As a company in the construction and restoration industry, we focus on hiring the best in their trades. We are passionate about what we do and why we do it. Because teamwork and culture are so important to the way we do business, we don’t just look for strong experience. We seek out the most talented, driven, and professional individuals. Above all, they must have a strong work ethic, a passion to succeed, and a desire to cultivate professional relationships with customers and co-workers. It sounds like a lot, but the right people are important to our company.

Candace lives just south of Chicago with her husband Eric and three children.
