Catch BluSky Restoration Subject Matter Experts at the RIA Virtual Fall Technical Conference

The Fall Technical Conference agenda was built around the theme of “Creating Efficient Teams through the Use of Technology”. BluSky team members Jon Vogt and John Warnick will be presenting on 3D Technology: How It Can Impact the Breadth of Your Business.  Using 3D Technology is proven to save time and money with the bonus of strengthening cross-functional team relationships and perspectives.  Some takeaways will include learning how to save time and money by estimating remotely. Gain an understanding of the value of pre- and post-3D scans to all project stakeholders, clients, adjusters, consultants, and restoration companies performing the work.

Who benefits when 3D technology is used in disaster restoration?

The Customer:

  • Visual documentation of the damages to share with remote customers, giving the contractor the ability to review the scope of work
  • Visual support for proper reimbursement when submitting an insurance claim.

The Insurance adjuster:

  • Less time onsite documenting the damages
  • Visual evidence of the damages making it easier to determine coverage
  • Provides a view of the damages before restoration begins so they can assess the damages for themselves
  • Provides a 3D view of the home on your computer making estimating easier, more accurate and much faster
  • Measure rooms, cabinets, ceiling heights and view personal property up close from their computer

 The Contractor:

  • Less time onsite more time to prepare for the restoration
  • Ability to view from their computer allowing them to confirm the layout of the home, building materials and measurements without having to revisit the home
