Louis Marcy - Office Vice President
Louis Marcy is the vice president in BluSky’s South Orange County office. He grew up completing construction jobs with his father, doing stucco and miscellaneous turnkey assignments. As an adult, he put himself through college working at Nordstrom’s shoe department before he graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in international business and marketing. With previous job experiences as a sales and marketing manager as well as a senior project estimator for a total of six years, Louis garnered several multi-tasking skills in the engineering world. Then, he returned to his construction roots when joined BluSky as a project manager in March 2017. In his current role, Louis manages various types of projects involving water, mold, fire and asbestos-related operations of all sizes. From commercial high-rise properties to high-end luxury condominiums and affordable housing apartments, he has worked with a diverse range of clients within his years of working for the company.
Certified in water restoration (IICRC-WRT), mold remediation (IICRC-AMRT) and applied structural drying (IICRC-ASD), Louis has also earned credentials as a project manager through multiple hour trainings: OSHA 10-hour, asbestos 40-hour; lead 8-hour (IICRC).
When he isn’t managing multiple projects with BluSky, Louis, who resides in Long Beach, is overseeing two different softball teams for fun. He loves to travel with his wife around the world and calls Grindelwald, Switzerland, his favorite place to visit.
