BluSky Philanthropic Event Raises Over $11,000 for Angels of America’s Fallen
Funds will support healing activities for children of fallen firefighters, military, and law enforcement
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. – OCTOBER 22, 2021 — BluSky Restoration Contractors, LLC, a leading national property restoration company in the U.S., today announced it raised $11,306 for Angels of America’s Fallen in Colorado Springs, Colorado, through its annual Clays for Kids sporting clay fundraising tournament held October 1, 2021.
Clays for Kids is one of the firm’s signature community service events and is held annually in several cities where BluSky operates.
“We’re committed to making our communities better and we commend the work Angels of America’s Fallen does,” said Kent Stemper, BluSky CEO. “It’s a great privilege to partner with them and invest in the lives of children of fallen military and first responders.”
Proceeds Angels of America’s Fallen receives from this event will help fund healthy positive activities for the children of fallen firefighters, military, and law enforcement. Since 2012 the organization has empowered children to participate in healing developmental activities such as sports, music, and other arts as positive outlets for their grief during their entire childhood.
“The Angels of America’s Fallen team was excited to see the return of the Clays for Kids fundraiser this year,” said Karen Kantor, development director at Angels of America’s Fallen. “We are incredibly grateful to the support that our Angel Families receive year after year. Funds raised from BluSky and their partner sponsors will help support 400 children, who have lost their hero parent, in resiliency building activities this year.”
